It’s not complicated.
Either:
A) Determine the lifestyle you want and find a job that can support it
Or
B) Find a job and live within the confines of what that salary affords.
There is not a valid third option.
Nearly every financial problem is a violation of this basic choice. It’s an attempt to live a lifestyle which outpaces current income. It’s hypocrisy.
If your current spending doesn’t match your current income—either change jobs or cut spending.
It’s not complicated.
From your lips to the debtors ear. Debtor being individual, family or governmental entity. Why is it that ivy league graduates have such a difficult time grasping this very simple and honest truth.
